    Default Snowy Owl near sunset

I have been away from this forum for a few years and thought I would give it another try. There has always been lots of great work posted here but there is only so much time in the day for so many forums. I'll do my best to stick around for a while!

Lots to like here Tim. Sweet light, excellent detail and nice pose and background. I would wish for a simpler perch as this one competes for attention.

Tim, I really like the over-the-shoulder look by the owl. Nice light and very sharp. What seems to bother me is how the perch seems to blend into the owl's feathers, although I'm not sure what can be done about it.

Very unique pose, and I like all the feather action and perch. I wish for a looser crop. The owl is feeling a bit cramped to my eyes.
