Absolutely superb, the owl sows grace and beauty and that cold eye tell another story! Beautiful exposure and setting couldn't ask for more.

    Mike,

You were at just the right height to get the eyes in that position with respect to the wing. Great exposure too.

I may consider cleaning up the small branch in front of the bird, if you aren't opposed to it.

Hi Mike, now this is just showing off. Well timed for the take off, love the trailing snow, and the head turn and visible eye behind the wing puts this up a few notches. Excellent whites throughout the snowy, and the forward wing position looks great. I agree removing the brown twig in front of the snowy. Other than that, a fine image.

sweet peekaboo pose. Out of the norm and I like the wing detail and falling snow at the feet.

I love the crisp whites of the snow and Owl, but the big appeal of this image is those gorgeous eyes peeking over the wing.

    Another terrific flight photo, Mike.
I like the bit of vegetation, I would leave it.
It feel a bit tight on the top, I would leave more above if you can.
