Terrific job handling the high-key BG with the dark-colored duck. Great detail and perfect HA. Nicely done as usual, Bill!

I think it is called; Ring-necked Duck. Actually it does have a ring on the neck but it is not visible most of the time. Excellent low angle, nice HA and great details, Bill.

Thanks Karl. I just realized that I had mis-titled this, and came to try and fix it. Too late. Thanks for catching it. If a Mod can fix it, that would be great.

Nice Image Bill, the low angle and the wonderful exposure of the blacks that stand out for me
    Lovely details on this bird.

    Bill -

Great exposure on this dark subject on a very light background. You got all the detail you could ask for. The catchlight is the kicker, for me.

Sometimes I don't know how they came up with names ... ring-necked duck when the ring is on the bill. Oh well.

Hi Bill, good shooting angle, and I like the coloured sheen on the head. I also like the semi high key upper BG, sets the duck off nicely. The bow wave and wake stand out and add interest.

    I fixed your title.

Hi Bill - excellent sharpness and detail. I like the high key look for the bg but find it slightly distracting in front of the duck.

Thanks Stuart. I can't believe I did that.

Excellent image Bill. I can appreciate this as I got some terrible shots of one the other day. Great job!
