    Default Black and White Cosmic Kite

    It's been a while since I did a space bird, so here's a new one! I used Topaz photoFXlab, which allows you to apply effects from different plugins from a central interface. I used DeNoise, Detail, Adjust, Star Effects, and B&W Effects filters.

    I like the multi-toned charcoal background and the composition. I'm not sure if it's the pose of the kite, the star, or the way the kite contrasts with the background, but there's almost a 3-D effect. Very nicely done from capture through processing.

    A dramatic B&W image. The simplicity and the lens flare effect make it compelling.

    Beautiful composition, Kerry. Love the contrast in b&w and the sharpness... nice touch with the star effect!
