Another freezing cold day, shot taken in the back garden, suet used as bait - they seem to prefer it to peanuts.
It's the first time I have managed to capture two simultaneously.

    Very nice shot.
I really like the poses of both birds, wonderful background, and terrific perch.
Some fill flash would have been nice to bring out the birds and perch a bit more.
You can select the birds and perch and bring up the exposure on them them and
darken the background just a tad.
    Either way....
    Well done.

Good capture on both these guys and nice perch. I think I would tone down the bright spots in the BG a bit, but otherwise he colors in the BG are awesome.

Hi Jon, they are multiplying in your back yard - now there are two. I like the proud pose of the blue tit in front, and you have done extremely well with the DOF for F/ 6.3. Just love that perch you have, lots of lichen, lovely and green, together with all the bits and pieces jutting out. That BG is really colourful.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I did use fill in flash on some shots but I very often find that the flash gun cannot keep up with the camera when using High Speed Synch, so it's a bit hit and miss.

    Jonathan:
Magnificent image with extremely colorful and beautiful backdrop.
Love the poses of birds, nice details and interesting perch with lichen.Very nice composition too.
I could see a thin grey line next to the beak of lower bird. OOF feathers ?

    Regards,
    Satish.
