    I believe it was taked before sunrise. The time was four minutes before seven AM.
    The pink area in the background is the top of mountain range along the roadside pond at Bosque.

    Hi Karl,
    The BG is yummy! Love that pinky orange color.
    Good wing position as well.Nice and sharp.
    I might try to eek out a bit more detail on the whites in the far wing with detail Extractor if you have it,

    I like the colors, pose, comp.

    I had the same first impression as Gail mentioned, not much detail on far wing or head.

    Color Efex Pro is a very useful program, and often you can get a discount through Artie, so worth considering!

    Love this one Karl. What a great background. Perfect wing position for me and I like the comp. To my eyes the head is a bit soft (but very good considering the ISO and SS) and I agree about the lack of detail in the far wing.

    Head is a little soft, and far wing a little bright, and a bit of CA evident on the far wing and forehead......but glorious backdrop and liking the droplets still clinging to the body
