    Default Varied Thrush

Here's one I captured back in January of this beautiful bird singing.

I hope to get out and get some new images of spring migrants soon.

    Cheers!

This has got to be one of the most beautiful of North American birds and your image of it really brings that home. The 1/80s shutter speed is pretty remarkable with an equivalent focal length of over 1100mm! The only thing that distracts me is the strong branch that runs behind the bird at mid-breast an up.

Very beautiful overall Glenn, but I feel the branch's proximity to the bill is a littlwe distracting. Very good at 1/80s. !

Great find, I like the colors and singing pose. The position of the perch is not ideal but I would take it anytime.

Really a good picture Glenn. Great light and great good on keeping it sharp at 1/80. My only wish will be to have more separation between the thrush and the perch...
