    Maybe I should explain the shot. I love to shoot wide open (thats just me) and these guys are so beautiful. My intent here is to show the viewer a kinda of glamor shot of this perfect creature.

    Jeff...i like the selective focus here...nice sharp eye and some nice feather detail...I wish the other leg was not lost in the shadows

    Very dramatic shot Jeff! I might be tempted to take the green out just to see how that would look.

    Hi Jeff, lovely portrait of the little chickadee. Your exposure formula is spot on and in fact is what I call "baseline" exposure and is what I set my camera to when walking around looking for subjects. I love the eye contact and that tiny bill...

    Nice eye contact, and good exposure to protect the whites. Agree with Jeannean about the little bit of green, just to see if it'd help the image.
