Another one from my trip to Bosque del Aphache.

1D MK4, 500mm (v1) +1.4ext (v2), 1/1600 @ 6.3, ISO 640.Manual mode. Taken on my last morning at Bosque. Added a small amount of canvas to the right.

    Thanks, Tom.

a classic crane shot with excellent light, good wing position and a nice BG. I may tone down the chick whites a tad

A super shot, I hope you don't mind but I attach another version for your consideration, I used curves and pulled down the centre just a few points, then I added some pop with selective colour Blacks black and Neutrals Black

    Tom-

Nicely captured and great timing to get the perfect wing position. Good PP to add the canvas in front.

I agree the the repost adds a bit of punch.

Sweet sweet light, excellent pose and bg. Terrific sandhill image, Tom. I like what Jon has done in the repost.

No worries - I like what you have done. Gives more pop.
