Default Before and After: Leucistic Black-capped Chickadee

On my recent trip to Algonquin Park, I was lucky enough to photograph this Leucistic Chickadee. It had been in the area for 2 years but until this day had been very shy. I loved the image but didn't like all the clutter. Using just the clone tool, I removed all the twigs and background. Then ran it through Fotosketcher Oil Painting effect.

    Thanks for looking

Nice capture, Paul. Beautiful work on the background, and good composition. I'd suggest lightening the snow some, but it's a great image.

What a beauty, Paul. It was worth the working doing the cleanup

A lot of work, but I agree, so worth it. Not just a photo of a "shy" bird, but love the wing action.

I love the wings! So graceful and beautiful. Excellent job of removing clutter. Wonderful position of this little bird. I like your processing. I would lighten up the whole image just a bit, and the bird a bit more. Excellent work.

Lovely capture Paul, I really like the pose showing the wings so nicely. Excellent job with the background and the final result is very appealing. Super!

Love the detail and movement of the wing. Great job of cleaning up the background.
