    Pink IS good. Peter corrected the rotation issue.

    Did you use Color Efex Pro detail extractor on the bird? It has that slightly grungy look that can sometimes result from that tool.

    Obviously the lighting can cause similar effects.

    I like this, love the back ruffed up feather look and raised foot. Great natural habitat image.

    Randy after posting this image I used reflector fro nx and it brightened up the image I did not use detail extractor

    I think the reflector is an improvement, mainly because the color temp is warmer, and yes, it does add some light under the bird.

    I believe it is just a bit overdone, but you are going in the right direction.
