    Nice wing span shown and the tip touching the water adds interes. The very top of the canvas is dark that I find somewhat distracting.

    A very determined looking heron.
    I like how the wing is touching the water and the little splash.
    I would like to see a crop with the dark band on the top of the frame either cropped out or cloned in with the grey water and some more room right and bottom.
    Whites are a bit hot on the belly.

    Hi Uri, now this is great that you didnt cut anything off, but you didnt leave much on either side. I like the diagonal angle, and the wing tip touching the water puts this up a notch. I agree taking the darker area away on top wont harm the image. If you are ok with it, I would add to the left, right, and bottom.

    I decided to add the added canvas left, right and bottom using content aware - to give the heron a little more space. I aslo cropped away a bit off the top.

    hi Stuart,thanks for your post. a very nice edit job specially the canvas on the bottom which gave the image a boost.
