    Hey Bob,
I thought it had to be longwood.....this is one of my favorites there! I like how you isolated against the leaf. Exposure looks dead on. I have debated having more room (yeah...believe that!) to get the whole pad.....but mostly top and bottom.....but I do realize may not have been possible. All in all.....this turned out very nicely!

The dull light is optimal for this kind of subject, the DOF, sharpness and exposure are all excellent. You have shown thought in composition and cropping, I think this image is excellent!!

Hi Bob. Very nice lighting on the flower - which brings out all the beautiful colors! Excellent overall sharpness and the green pad background works well. I'm wondering how this would look with a bit more room at the bottom such that the edge of the pad wasn't clipped - a minor point. Very well done!

    Bob,

Wonderful shot. The Lily Pond at the Longwood's Conservatory is a special place. One can spend hours there. I'm really, really looking forward to the spring re-opening.
