Nice to see you posting again, Chad. It seems as though it's been a while. I remember some Green Heron images from a kayak that were pretty impressive. :) Great exposure and low angle. Lovely bird and pose.

Hi Chad, another 'welcome back' from me too, and who could forget those Green heron images - without going back I remember them clearly.
Excellent low angle, and well timed to capture the outspread wings. Good whites, well exposed, and I feel this needs a slither of CW rotation.

Lovely timing Chad, low angle works nicely and whites very well handled as well, sharp detail right down to the fine droplets off the feet, my only thought would be to crop a sliver more off the bottom to lessen the oof foreground/water

I agree about the CW rotation, small crop from bottom, and I felt there was a greenish/yellow color cast on the bird.
I addressed all 3 in the repost. Now needs a bit more canvas on the right, but it shows the options OK.
Hope to catch you out and about again soon.
Cheers

Totally agree Randy, I tend to process on the warm side, not so much the green/yellow side, not sure what happened to this one. Lets just say a very early morning edit may have done the damage LOL Thanks for taking the time.

Chad
