    Default White-eyed Buzzard

Made this Juvenile Buzzard's image on a dull overcast morning. The soft light helped in retaining details in the white plumage.

I am not much of a critic, but I like the pic. I like the soft light and the background. And sharp. All the ingredients I think important.

I am with Gary on the nice muted light and the terrific BG. The perch and vegetation also work nicely. Good HA, exposure and details. Very pleasing image!!

Very nice image! In a perfect world, I would prefer the vegetation wasn't near the tail.....but minor as the BG, light, and details are very nice!

Great shot deliberately not read previous comments but I do not mind the leaves bottom right, I think it helps maintain some authenticity. I could not really imagine a single twig like the one perched on being totally isolated, it would make me think it had been modified if it was all alone.

Very appealing image with a great BG and perfect head angle. Well balanced comp. The soft light you had certainly did help.

Very beautiful image! Love the soft, beautiful green vegetation in the background, the soft light, the color of the leaves on the perched branch, the plumage of the bird, and the sharpness. Agreed with Roman regarding the leaves near the tail. I also would like to see more details on the bird head where the highlights seemed blown a little to me. But overall a very beautiful image.

Very nice raptor and lovely details. The clean BG and pretty pose makes for a very special image, it looks like is using an acacia as a perch!
