This is a great species Karl, and your recent images of them are beautiful! This one is no exception! The berry in the beak is the clincher...
Cheers, Greg
Very nice scene and colors, Karl.
Wonderful image.. I was Wondering why there is red spots near berry.?? thanks for sharing..
Karl -
Really like the detail that you were able to get in this one. I always imagine these guys being "silky smooth", but this image shows me the detail in the feathers. The crop and composition are great, good choice of going vertical here.
I may be inclined to brighten the eye just a touch, but I'm not familiar enough with the waxwings to know if it may be noticeable PP.

Curses . . . another waxwing with berry . . I still haven't got one of these . . .
Excellent image of waxwing with berry in the beak.Beautiful colors, nice details and perch with red berries.
Love the frame.

Satish.
Im with Wendell LOL:) I want one too. This is really nice and I just love the perch dripping with berries. I keep finding myself drawn to the eye and wonder if it would be helpful to lighten the shadow on it?
