    Default Purple Trillium

Have not posted here in a while. I'm sharing this photo that I took earlier today. I found a nice area not far from my home where they were blooming.

    20D, 70-200 f4, 25mm extension tube, 1/25 @ f9, ISO 100.

    Thanks for looking and commenting!

I love the detail and color here. Personally, I would like to see the image cropped up from the bottom to focus more on the flower. I also would then rotate counterclockwise just a bit. But that's me.

Lovely color combination, Josh, the petals look really good. I see a slight halo on the bottom and left petals, is is a coloring of the bg?

Hey Josh, very well done overall. Great colors, sharpness, and BG.

The soft light is very nice and the comp is just about right for me. I see some haloing also. Doesnt bother too much but it does look strange.

Hi Josh, I find this flower image very appealing. Excellent detail, good colour impact, great BG, and the inclusion of the lower leaves just makes it for me!!
