Hi Sanjeev. I love the quizical expression on Mr. Cormorant's face! If you have a little extra, I'd add a bit of real-estate below his foot (it's a bit cramped) and possibly take off a very little bit above his head. The whites (guano?) on the rock are blown, but I don't think that significantly detracts here. I like this one.

I really like the vertical crop of this one. It really shows the heighth of the bird well. The rocks do look a little blown to me as well, but I really like the overall image.

Nice composition, angle and pose. Agree on a little more room below. I would burn the rock.

Hello Sanjeev, you have a nice background here and I like your capture. Softer light is always better for birds with both very dark and very light plumage such as this one. The highlights are not blown, but are so much brighter than the dark areas that they seem that way to the eye. Good comments above. Your images are improving, keep them coming!

Hi Sanjeev......Another vote for darkening the rock ....The strong brightness is pulling my eye away from the subject.

Hi Sanjeev - first off I'd like to commend you for pointing your shadow at the subject. As a result, Mr. Cormorant here is very well lit by the sun. Good expression you've captured here too, also the background is nice and distant an doesn't distract at all. Be careful darkening the rock, as you can see that the underside of the bird is lit by the light reflecting off the white surface. If you darken the rock too much the lighting on the bird may look unnatural. Still a great image!
