    Near the Lookout Inn, Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica.

    Shooting up into a canopy always creates problems, with a generally busy background, and with open patches of sky and variously colored leaves tending to draw the eye away from what is important. Still, I like this image because it shows a significant aspect of bird behavior, as the two parent Scarlet Macaws preen the feathers of their baby.

    You certainly captured some nice action. Not optimal conditions but your exposure looks good and it is their environment.

    This is hysterical. Just love this behavior. Have seen a captured this type of thing with parakeets herein Florida. I think it would work better if all heads were a little sharper.
