    Wonderful image.
I really like the composition here.
Excellent view of the colony, but love the inclusion of the chick and parent.
    Very well done.

Excellent exposure and composition work. I like the placement of the parent/chick, and the strong eye contact
from both. Other elements handled well, particularly the amound of fg and bg shown. The clouds really added
    something special to the frame.

Being part of the subcontinent does restrict us quite a bit from seeing these beauties in their natural habitat. With a wide angle shot at touching distance things look a lot brighter from here. Thanks for this wonderful image and yes the eye contact gives that extra connection to the viewer.

Very nice. I especially like the parent and chick interaction, and the interesting sky. Quite a spectacle, well captured.

I think the composition, as well as the subjects, are very well done here Mike. Well done!

So much going on in this image, yet my eye rests immediately and lingers on the sweet chick and parent in the LRC, then explores the rest of the image. Wonderful work, Mike. Only tiny suggestion would be to leave a bit more bottom and left so that when printed and matted it's not too tight. (Maybe you already did that in the print version)

I like the way the parent & chick anchor the composition but till let the big story of the busy colony come through. Very nice; thanks for sharing.

Outstanding, what a terrific print this would make, the two gulls are optimally positioned - absolute cracker of a shot. You have conveyed the colony and yet the eye also has something specific to llok at with the adult and chick, my eye roams around the image but it always has somewhere to settle, I think this is why it is so appealing.

I'm thoroughly enjoying this image, Mike. The wide angle gives a rather "in their world" experience which is so cool.
The contact between the chick and the parent is excellent and I especially like the flying birds in the bg.
Must be quite an experience, spending time in a colony like this?

Great shot, Mike. loved the compositional balance a lot. Clouds also add a a lot and help the comp. in a big way. Enjoying your shots from this trip a lot. Keep 'em coming.
