This just in - this rare bird was recently captured by the Hubble Space Telescope. It is believed to have escaped from the Phillips Zoo in Cooterville, Louisiana. Until this discovery, this species had never been seen outside of the NW corner of Louisiana.

Dave Phillips was obsessed with flips, an obsession that he shared with OOTB and which got lots of us hooked as well.

P.S. - due the amount of detail in the image, it got hammered pretty good by "save for web".

Nice looking flip! The way it is looking down at us, makes it interesting. Very nice processing.

I stared at the image with my left eye, then my right, then with both eyes which gives it a 3d quality to it. Dave would have been proud. Very nice
