Fabs this is magnificent. Wonderful wing position and excellent exposure and detail on the under side and the timing was perfect. Great BG too !!! No nits for me.

Beautiful bird in a sweet pose, Fabs. Nice capture. Probably just my monitor (and eyes) but looks a tad dark (as do all of my shots lol). Perhaps a tad more room top and bottom...but who am I to nit,as my recent post is tight...... and getting "it" for "it". :-) Nice one ....I want one.

Good exposure on the underside of the wings and the backlight does a nice job of outlining the wings and coming through the tail feathers.

Very nice image Fabs. Great pose captured here. I am not seeing a tonne of feather detail? Was a lot of Shadow-Highlight used? Or maybe a touch more USM could help?

No S/H, Glenn, just plain ol' back light.

I cropped too tight, mea culpa.
Will sharpen some more, no prob!

    Thanks for the feedback :)

Fabulous (I never thought I would say that word) Fabs.
The tech stuff is good, of course. Nice and sharp.
If this is a full frame image, the composition is about as good as it can get.

If it is a crop, I think a little more sky would be welcome.

Is that a slight Shadow / Highlight halo I see?

    Hi Fabs -

Beautiful flight pose...especially that spread tail and the light shining through the feathers. I like it as presented.

Absolutely wonderful shot Fabs. Maybe a tad tight, but that's an easy fix as I read you said you cropped tight. I love it.
