    i spotted this guy in a park from the FL Turnpike!! he was very cooperative and i think maybe looking for a mate as i did not see a partner.

    D300, 18-200VR at 200mm, f/8, 1/800s, 0EV, ISO 400

    Interesting composition that would have worked for me except for the patch of dry grass in the foreground. Background is cool with all the OFF little flowers. The weeds sticking out are also a bit distracting. Subject looks good and sharp.
    Hope he finds a partner soon :)

    Hi Harold Great spotting from the TPK .... but best to keep your eyes on the road !!!!

    Would bump contrast on the bird and actually the surrounding bg !!! Do like the composition The yellow flowers on the left seems to help balance things out Might also take just a little from the top !!! Doing well Harold !!!!

    I agree with Fabs comments. I also might have cropped a little closer. Good spotting but do drive carefully!
