Taken at the start of the sun going down so you get this slight yellow tinge overall. The male left the den a good 10 minutes before the female, she slowly came out, stopped, move toward the direction of the male, but then stopped again opposite and looked towards the vehicle. She then joined the male as they disappeared of to hunt.

I really like the light here Steve & the way it accentuates the front of the fox. I can feel her cautiousness from your image. As usual, excellent IQ & techs.

Steve - great look at the fox with your usual high IQ despite the ss. Comp works well and the pose seems to accentuate those large ears.

    Hi Steve,
Like the light with just a subtle touch of rim light on the face. Also like the pose. For me it perfectly portrays the nervousness that I would imagine this small predator experiences every time it goes out to hunt among the big guys every night.

Superb sharpness on the face really captures the wonderful look. I recommend cropping 1/3 off the top Steve. That tightens the composition and really accentuates the face IMO. Well done.

    Hi Steve,
late , but i like it in all terms, would leave the comp as is, no need for goíng tighter.Like the color rendition.

For this SS , out standing sharpness, and clarity.

    Hey Steve,
Excellent pose and light with great techniques given the techs. You know I never met a crop I didn't like....well almost......I'm with Robert off the top.....really focuses on the face more. Still an outstanding image overall.
