Nice photo Nelson. The one thing I'd try to do is clone out
the dead part of the stem on the very end, leaving the live
bud.

I love how parallel to the perch the subject is. I also like the subdued light and great colours. The BG looks great but I'd smooth out the yellow area in upper left corner, and perhaps crop up to above the leaves at bottom (or eliminate them in post.) There is also a white speck near the bird's forehead that grabs my attention.
