Love the bird in shade/BKGR in sun look and the raised foot. Wish that the bird had looked a bit more to its right and so do you :). Maybe a sliver off the right. All in all, lovely.

Pretty little thing! I like the raised foot and the sunlight BG.
I would take some off the right and bottom. I think this could work as a vertical as well and would reduce the impact of the large branch.
I would sharpen the head and eye a bit more as well.
I would also decrease the brightness of the yellow patch by the head.
All in all, a very pleasing image,
    Gail

Nice capture. Wishing for a better HA. I think it were mine I would tone down the bright spot in the BG. Overall very nice image.

Good looking Dove, Jonathan. I like the raised foot and the slanting perch. The background is nice, the yellow above the head adds interest.

Hi Jon, these Doves have such lovely colours, and you have shown that on the wings. Although common, they do produce lovely images. Good to see the raised foot as he walks down the perch, and agree, a touch off the RHS will work. Your back garden?
