    Default Skimmer Head On

This guy was cruising back and forth at Eco pond the other morning, so were hordes of mosquitoes. It was the first time I have seen them in action and fun to watch. I liked the curve of blue in this.

I was surpised I got a sharp one with a 20d, 100-400 combo out of the head on stuff, but this one was. I even managed to not clip anything.

    Thanks for looking,
    Paul

    Hi Paul,
AAgh ! Not another landscaper going to the dark side!!! Don't worry, I'm already here......pretty gutsy taking a vertical. Had you opted for the horizontal.......as they were coming at you.....you might have been able to get a tighter shot without clipping wingtips. As is, pretty good detail throughout,
    Roman

PS Even a guy from Jersey knows it's time to get out of the Eco pond area very soon!

Good for you to get this as a vertical!
Nice and sharp and good reflection, you could use some noise reduction on the top part only.
    Nicely done :)

    Thanks for the comments guys.

Roman, tried horizontal later but the auto focus wasn't on my side for those. Got some nice ones as he went alongside me though.
