Collared Aracari - A Portrait....
Wanted to take a portrait of this beautiful bird in costa rica. Got an opportunity to do so on second day.
With Canon 5D Mark II + Canon EF500mm f/4L IS II USM.
ISO- 800.
F- 6.3
SS - 1/160.

And you succeeded! I find this image to have great balance in the composition, with the beak doing most of the work :) Nice detail in the eye, where it counts.
If you aren't opposed to it, I would clone out some of the brown in the top left portion of the image, just to keep it all green.
I'm not familiar with the bird, but I do see a color cast on the black feathers. That might be there naturally, though.

Very nice portrait of a cool-looking bird! It's tough to do rainforest photography without the use of a flash. Here it would have helped control the exposure on the BG (which I find to be a little bright) while preserving the exposure on the bird. The coloration of the bird is correct.
