    Got up early to take the long drive to Viera wetlands to capture this image.

    Hi Mike:

    Thank you for posting what looks to be a lovely image. Could you please share with us what focal length lens you used and your settings for this lovely image? It will help us give you a more accurate critique.

    I am seeing some issues with your smaller version maybe caused from downsizing the image (whlie the larer version looks much better.) Please tell us how you prepared this image for the web so we can help you avoid this in the future.

    I will post all data tomorrow when I have time. You are right I had to down size the file post. The original version looks good. I must be doing something wrong.

    Very nice shot.
    Love the background colors, really like the perch, great pose and comp.
    The larger version is real nice .

    Your second post shows a very nice image of a heron at sunrise. Wonder why the first post looks so degraded ... let's figure this out!

    the early driver Paid off. Has a lazy late evening look to it (I kow which it is not) but this certainly reminds me of the great Florida and coast it enjoys.

    We can appreciate some specs.
