I used Topaz Simplify and Oil Paint filter in layers with lowered opacity and Ps Paint Daubs filter at lowered opacity. I darkened the background and added a vignette and darken/lighten in Color Efex 4.

Very nicely composed and processed. It's good that there are three prominent flowers, and the bee adds a special touch.

Striking image, Judy., I like the processing combo and think the BG is very special.

Beautiful composition, Judy. Love the flower and the warm bright colors... it stands out well with the wonderful bg. The bee is a nice addition.

A delight to see on a cold, dreary day! The 3 flowers is good. Often, when there is a bee shot, the focus is on that only, and so there is just a big central flower that is a background for the bee. Here, you have both the flowers and the bee taking equal standing. The darkened bkgd makes them stand out.

Hi Judy, I really like the image and think it is quite fitting for the theme. What strikes me about the image is how the bee echoes perfectly the flowers, with its color scheme and wings looking like petals. Very nice!

I'm a bit late to the discussion. I love the yellow of these flowers and how they pop. You did a beautiful job of making the flowers stand out against the darker bg.

These flowers just glow and go nicely with the muted similar colors of the background. The bee adds so much mostly because he is the same color as the flowers. Great processing.

Judy, I'm very late to the show and I believe everyone has covered all the points that make this a lovely image.
