Nice light, nice pose and lovely sense of habitat.
I like your concept with all the negative space. I'd move the bird a bit further up into the frame.

I wish there was more light on the bird. I would move the bird up in the frame to give more space for the legs.
I would also crop a bit tighter.

I like the image alot, except I'd add back a little bit of canvas left and below (not much more needed but I think the subject is a little too tight to the corner). Perfect HA, especially with the light angle you had.

Lovely soft light. Beautiful bird. I'm in agreement with Dan in regards to his suggestions for tweaking
the comp. I love the loose spacious presentation.
