Another first species for me. Captured this over the Christmas holiday on Long Island , New York at Morton NWR with Grace Scalzo. Had a great time hand feeding them also. Thanks again Grace. I like the pose and the sleek lines to these birds.

Thanks as always for looking and for your input. Appreciated

Nice, simple image of this cutie pie. Great IQ and feather detail as well.
Techs are excellent and I like the comp and classic pose,

The details are impeccable and the slanting head is beautifully captured. Wonderfully captured image overall.

David, I like the diagonal of the tree and the curve of the bird's body against the beautiful background. It's so appropriate that you caught the nuthatch "upside down". The left foot, slightly grasping the tree, provides nice interest. Good light and good detail. Nice job with an unusual composition.

Love the upside down pose, comp and the nice bg. View of feet is a bonus and the comp is just right for me. Nice work David.

From the thumb I thought the body would have been hidden too much, but I actually think it works well here. Love the angled trunk and typical nuthatch pose. Techs are perfect. Congrats on your lifer WBN!!

Beautiful David! Love the bit of rufous showing on his underbelly and his cute little feet hanging on. I think you have some additional compositions hiding in this one. (Not I would change this, just nice to have options)

    Great close up!
The feet are really nice and sharp, the comp is very nice.
Since it doesn't appear to be a large crop, I can why they eat out of your hand.
