    Default Bosque Ross' Goose

    Attached Images Attached Images

While I got my fill of Snow Geese images, Ross' were a bit harder to come by.
Here's one in the morning light.

    Canon 1D4, 500mm, 1.4x
    1/2500, f8, iso 400, manual, hand held

I wish I could I could get this pose without any shadows. May be next time.

    All comments appreciated.
    Thanks!

Pretty sweet frame Sid! The shadow is not ideal, but everything else about the photo is excellent.

Another beautiful goose in flight shot. Exposed well and lots of detail in the whites because of the great exposure. Perfect angle and wing position. Besides the shadow, Perfect. TFS

Nice flight pose, the wings are in a good position and the exposure looks good.

Hi Sid, looks like you got yourself a handful of keepers at Bosque, and this is no exception. Well exposed, and the angle of flight works well. Its always great when you have sweet BG's to work with. Well captured.

Very nice! I see what you mean about the shadow but it does not bother me too much. Perfect wings up pose, the face is tack sharp. For web this looks good cropped tightly, but I could see a looser comp working well too.

A great shot of this Ross'. Perfect flight angle and nice wing position; nicely exposed. The shadow doesn't bother me too much, but I suppose in a perfect world.......

Another nice exposure and in flight pose, the shadow doesn't bother me, but the BG looks blotchy on the right hand side,
No one else mentioned it, maybe I am seeing things. Easy fix if it is the case.

Thank you all for the comments.

Dan, must be posterization after jpeg conversion. I only see this on one laptop screen but not on my other monitors. I'll revisit. Thanks.
