    Hi Mike,
You went to the Falklands AND got a 1DX! You must have been a very good boy this year!
What a wonderful adventure you must have had and I look forward to seeing more wonderful shots.
This is a really nice shot Mike. I like the dog like position -up on all fours. Your exposure is perfect (as usual) for the blacks and whites.
The crashing waves really tell the story,
    Gail

Great shot, Mike. loved the surf BG, comp. and action. Blacks and whites...both look great. Lots of details and excellent angles. Wouldn't touch a thing.

    Mike:

Like the others, I like the interesting pose, the sense of powerful wave action, good exposure. The looser framing really increases the impact of the environment.

    Cheers

I love the pose along with everyone else, unique and very nicely exposed in what looks like challenging conditions.

This is a terrific image which tells a great story. Love the wave/water in the BG and the gorgeous light. His pose, super angle and slightly open beak adds a lot. You nailed this one.

Nice action photo. Well framed. I like how the flippers are cutting through the tide. Fine job.

Brilliant image, Mike. I love how the penguin is on all fours. The big waves and flying droplets add a lot of drama. Must be tough being a penguin. Perfect comp, details and execution.

    Terrific shot.
Just love the unique pose, love the crashing waves in the background, and very well composed.
