Baited Taken at little Estero using the Canon 1D Mark3 and the Sigma 300-800m lens at 800mm at ISO 1250, f8 for 1/1600 sec. as the sun went behind the clouds and the egret moved into the shadows. I added canvas to the front of the image where it was even tight for me!
As always, comments welcomed and appreciated,

Well done. Would have liked it even better at 747.3mms.

    Hi Artie,
You gave me a good chuckle with the 747.3mm. I will remember it next time out,

I thought you landscape guys were the wide angle types! Give you a long lens and look what you go and do...crowd a bird in a frame. Go figure! :)

Very nice detail in this one. I really like the drops of water falling from the fish's tail. Maybe a tiny bit more space?

I'll echo the comments and add that it could be rotated a tiny bit CW, but then you may loose even more ground ;)

    Great whites!
