It's time to start posting some photos to this site. I was lucky to run into Arthur Morris, Fabs Forns and the rest of the IPT in March. Also, caught Arthur at the Long Island show.

    This was shot with a Nikon 200-400mm VR, D200 and a 1.4x. Was shooting 400 ISO, f/9.0 @ 1/640.

Hi Tony, Welcome. This is nice and sharp and you have captured the peak of the action. Had the female raised her head a bit and turned towards you you would have had a real winner.

Hey, big welcome, Anthony, wasn't Venice a great trip????

Great interaction, the female's face could have a better angle and shame he casted a shadow over her body. Nice light and good exposure, right amount of sharpness and well composed, although you could have used more room at the bottom for her virtual feet.

Looking forward to more and glad you are participating :)

Wow! This hasn't been up for 10 minutes and already getting some great feedback. I do have some with both heads turned properly and from the same sequence. This was the moment of the "pass" or exchange. I look forward to sharing them with you on my next post. Venice was great!. It was a great way to end a week of FL birding by bumping into an IPT. Thank you all for the great conversation and advice, then and looking forward to more on the web.
    Tony
