Not a large variety of winter ducks here yet , but it was such a nice day to be out. Settled for the local Mallards which are ever present.

A fine capture of this beauty, Joe. I'm glad that you didn't overlook her. Wonderful pose, background, and nicely processed.

Joe, great light angle and IQ.
I love Mallards, much overlooked with the right light and angle.
    Very nice.

Amazing detail and nice pose. I find myself wanting just a little more room on the bottom

Well done - good head angle for this straight-on image - If it were mine, I'd get rid of one of the double catchlights.

A great image of a common bird. Head and neck tack sharp. Real sweet image!

Very nice done. You got a great head angle and pose, and managed really well with the extracting detail throughout. I agree with Cheryl about more room on the bottom. If you can, clean up the bottom catchlight, although it's not a biggie.
