Between you and Arash, I'm starting to think this is the year of the Kestrel! Very nicely captured. Beautiful pose with a nice catchlight to boot. The wing position on this capture is nice as well, and I like the detail on both the upper and lower portion of the wings.

    Hi Kiran,

Beautiful detail on the head with nice eye contact. Pleasing background and light as well. I like how the wings are fully fanned out to reveal every feather. Would like to see more of the tail, but that might be asking for too much!

You have super light here and an awesome BG, Kiran. The flight pose is unique with that flipped up tail, and I like how the raptor seems to be peering over at its photographer! I really envy you and the other photographers who are so adept at hand holding these big lenses for BIF!!! Well done.

Very nice pose and placement in the frame.
    Great techs as usual.
I think this could go just a bit darker.

    What an amazing capture.
I think the exposure is spot on and the pose is so unique.
The wings down and forward show both sides of the wings perfectly.
    Beautiful complimentary BG as well.
    Perfect comp as well.
Sigh...between you and Arash the bar keeps getting higher and higher and I am feeling shorter and shorter!!
    Well done,
    Gail

A fine image, I would consider reducing the crop a little bit and perhaps enhancing the contrast just a little.

Stunning Kiran. I just love the movement and angle created by the positions of the wings. Over the top detail too

I really cant find anything I dislike with this one....absolutely superb !!! Loving especially the eye contact and downswept wings, I don't think I've seen this species with that wing position before, expose, color all tick the right boxes

this is gorgeous Kiran! love the light, details, BG and the dynamic pose. you nailed it man!

there is a tiny bit of noise in the darker areas, should be easy to remove.

    congrats and happy new year!
