this is excellent, it has sweet light, excellent sharpness and more importantly a dynamic pose and expression on the eagle. My only suggestion is to reduce the red channel a bit to recover more details in the facial whites

    I am sure you're loving the 600!

Tack sharp, super detail and a powerful rendition of this beauty. I realize that you'd have to add canvas, but I feel as if more room on the bottom would be an option.

    Gail:

Very well captured, excellent pose, eye contact, details.

I am with Grace, a bit more room below, and I would like a bit more to the right, without getting to squarish.

    Cheers

    Gail,

This is simply beautiful! The warm colors and detail are excellent in my opinion. I like the crop as is. Well done.

Great job on this one, Gail. I think it's the best flight image I have seen you post. Agree with Grace on a tad more room on the bottom for a little more of a vertical crop.

I is getting harder and harder to post here with all the great work being shown!
You must have smiled when you saw this on the back of the camera.
Perfect light, pose and very close up.
It is also getting harder to critique here, there is nothing that I would change!

    Hey Gail,
Just add a bit of room to the bottom (even for me) and this one works very well! Easy fix to a fantastic capture!

Good flight pose, could have been better with lower wing closer for more even light.
Agree with others on the room.

    Hi Gail:
Classic image of the Bald Eagle. Absolutely superb flight pose with wonderful colors and details you have captured.
I like the wing position, nice tailed feather, fanned tail, lights and expression of eagle.Love the frame.
Would add space both at bottom and top.

Hi Gail, I really like the IQ in this, lovely light, and you have captured excellent detail all round. The sharpness is spot on, and I would add to the RHS.

Wonderful capture. The minimal PP really emphasizes your great technique. I could see a version with some more room on the bottom.

This is a stunning flight image Gail. The great wing position and nice light show off the feather detail to perfection, you can see just about every feather! Great head angle too.

Here is a repost with 5 % canvas added on the bottom. I tried it with a bit more on the RHS but preferred this for my tastes,

Sweet light, gorgeous details and love the eye contact, Gail. I somehow missed this one.
I'd add even more to the bottom, but that's a personal perference. Nice work!

Super shot, Gail. This has it all. Great light, IQ perfect eagle pose and expression. Congrats on an excellent capture. Repost helps, and I might imagine even a tad more, but lovely any way you crop it.

A real gem if ever I saw one, super quality focus exposure and pose are excellent. I like the little extra space on the repost.
I find it difficult to fault but I think the image would look even better if some of the highlights on the neck and the left foot were reduced, whilst I don't they are blown I do think you could see a little more detail.

    Hi Jonathan,
What great eyes you have. I never noticed the foot being a bit hot and will fix that promptly. I am afraid I have gotten as much detail out of the neck feathers as I can,

Gail you are welcome, Arash suggested adjusting the red channel for more detail in the whites, I would certainly try it. I guess you would make a quick selection of the area and make an adjustment layer and look at the Channels selecting red and then adjust that to see what the effect would be.
