Sanjeev, very nice work on the exposure for this bird. I think a bit of room to the left would do the trick.

    Sanjeev:

Nicely exposed to show good detail in the blacks without blowing out the whites on the bird.

    Good pose, bird is sharp.

If possible, a lower shooting angle would have reduced the impact of the large rock somewhat.

I would def. consider toning down the brightness of the rock significantly, it really competes with the bird.

    Cheers

Very nice, I have a soft spot for Robins of all kinds and I've never seen a Black Robin before....sweet bird Sanjeev. Liking very much the detail in blacks, very sharp indeed, and clear backdrop contrasts well. Yes to a bit more room on the left and slight darkening of the whites in the rocks. You certainly have some wonderful bird species in India

    Hey Sanjeev,
Agree with Randy on the rock. In the field comp wise......I would prefer a vert as well. Just some food for thought next time out.

Sanjeev this is a beautiful bird and you captured it nicely...I too agree with Randy that a lower shooting angle would have reduced impact of rock...whites on bird are completely lost in BG..

Excellent exposure on the robin, I think the pale rock has thrown some light up, I would consider making the rock a little less bright as it tends to draw my eye every now and again.
