    Still working on my blind set-up in my back yard. This angle provides a little better background, I think.

    Sun at 10:00 behind slightly to my right.
    About 4 meters from target.

    nice head angle and eye detail.
    IMO, the perch is quite large for this size bird.....the bg is super

    good luck with the new blind setup

    I agree with Dave's excellent comments and would add that the light is on the harsh side.

    Nice pose and find. Adding to the other comments, I would sharpen the bird a bit more and fill flash might have helped since the light was a bit harsh.
