    Default A Brighter New Year

    This is another of my favorite images from the "snow in the clouds" series from the Smoky Mountains. I first used Nik Silver Efex 2, and for the card version I used Color Efex vignette blur and a light gray off white vignette. Then I added the text and star and polar bear. I also have a version w/o the bear if you think it's too cheesy!

    love the star and the "brighter" theme....Happy New Year to you. Personally, I think the bear looks like a sticker. I'd leave it out

    Thank you! The same to you. I prefer the second version. Lovely scene! Appropriate for a new year--the road leading around the curve to adventures as yet unseen.
