    Sanjeev,

Lots to like here, I do enjoy the inclusion of habitat it adds to the image and balances the frame. Consider moving the subject more to the right-corner which would remove a bit of the bottom and right edge and support rule of 1/3s. The eye is interesting lets see what others say, you might consider working it a bit,..maybe darken the pupil with a small catch-light. There is a thread in the Education & Tutorial Forum on creating catch lights,..soo easy. This is all subjective and I am basically thinking out loud. I must say, your photography has improved and in this case you show us something different and unique,..you are on the right track here - nice one and keep em coming.

Tell me more about your post processing workflow and S/W,. for example NR, sharpening and how you manage colors/tones (levels, curves, saturation etc)

I find this to be an interesting capture. I generally like behavior shots. It looks as though we are looking at the nictitating membrane here which I personally would not attempt to alter. For me, that is part of the story/behavior. You have lots of good details in your feathers and your exposure looks good. I would consider moving your subject a little to the right. Really like all the inclusion of the environment here.

Nice work Sanjeev, I think this is one of your best so far. I am a sucker for preening shots, just love them. Good exposure, color, and detail. I agree with Marina regarding the crop. Do you have canvas on the left so the bird could be moved to the right a bit?

THANKS JEFF, MARINA & KERRY. I DO HAVE CANVAS ON THE LEFT. Will rework on it and make the suggested change in the composition.

Very nice doing something capture. I like these kind of shots.

As betters have suggested, a bit more to the right if you can would balance it out nicely.

Sanjeev, as others have said this is a lovely capture. With the bird a little more to the right it'd be a stronger image. I love the wing pointing into the frame, and the nictating membrane (please don't add a catchlight to this) also showing adds a special touch to the shot
