    Sanjeev:

Sharp, well exposed, nice eye. Composition works for me.

I might try some subtle increase in the contrast on the bird only.

A bit more DOF would have been nice, but obviously you weren't blessed with lots of light here.

    Cheers

This is wonderful as is. Good sharpness and BG. It looks just a tad bright and a little washed out on my monitor. I wonder too if a crop from the right, with just the bird's head and neck to the end of the top feathers, plus a little off the top to compensate and keep the size ratio, would work as a tight portrait. Overall a very nice photo!

Agree with the DOF, why not have adjust the ss and dof by 1/3 and should still be fast enough to get a sharp photo.

Lovely portrait, not too much wrong at all in my thoughts. I think it sits in the frame well, my only thoughts were the head area, particularly in front of the eye is a little faded looking and maybe a slight darkening of just the bird and/or contrast tweak would be an easy tweak. A little more noise reduction/smoothing to backdrop would also be nice.

Nice portrait shot. I would darken the bird and increase the contrast of the bird only.

Hi Sanjeev, I like the concentrated stare, sharp with good detail throughout. If this were mine, I would maybe come up from the bottom to halfway up the wing.

    Nice shot.
Excellent head shot, great background, and great comp.
Agree on boosting the contrast on the bird.
    Well done.
