This osprey came looking for fish that may have escaped the fishermen's nets.
I used the white dropper in ACR to attempt to get the white feathers white, then I warmed up a little, the original settings are quite different and the plumage looks muddy, I will be interested to read your comments.

Although it is already turning away from you, it gives you a nice head turn, Jonathan. Love the up wing pose and the water looks good. I noticed the band on the leg.

The pose is excellent Jon, and as Karl said, even though the bird is turned away, the head turn and the resulting eye contact works.
Love the hanging talons and the exposure. This might work well as a vertical too.

The WB looks good Jonathan. Comp looks good to me. Fun to see what appears to be the sea behind the subject.

Lovely image, you have captured the head turn perfectly, nice warming to the bird, great sharpness and I like the way the whole bg is taken up by the sea. A shot I would love to replicate one day.

The bird may be a smidge warm toned, but certainly I have seen many that color based on early or late light. Sharp, with nice wing and tail display. LIke the cluster of drops.

The head turn makes it work and an interesting ocean like BG.

Hi Jon, good raised wing position, hanging legs, and we do have a good view of the talons. I like how the Osprey is separated from the sea BG, and flying droplets always adds that little extra.
