    Hi Mike,
    This is a stunning image.
I love the flared wing and tail position.
The amount of environment shown as composed is perfect . I really like the few wispy grasses and the shadow.
IQ is awesome and the exposure is spot on. I might burn the whitish area just above the head
If this was mine, it would be hanging on the wall.
    Well done,
    Gail

Gail said it all. Position, exposure, comp, environment all combine to make this a stunning capture. Congratulations.

Great incoming pose on this hawk. Beautiful detail and exposure and the environment with the snow and the grass is wonderful. Like Gail said, Frame it!

What a belter! A majestic pose excellent exposure and colours super detail and a very pleasing setting. I like the crop but I can imagine it may look even better with a little more space around it.

This is really a striking capture, Mike. The pose and light are just killer, and just the right amount of environment.

Quite spectacular! Perfect pose, you could not have asked for better. The grasses add alot too. Love the snow acting as a reflector. I get the impression the image may need slight CCW rotation?
