Finally had some decent weather here in the Pacific Northwest. Got out to see the snowies. Definitely a treat, and will be headed back soon.

Very nice light and nice sharp details.
    Where was this?
A bit more room all around would look nice, it feels a bit cramped.

    Thanks, Dan!
This was taken at OceanShores, WA.
I cropped this right where the pile of stuff to the right started to get wild. There are a bunch of unruly sticks to the right. I could clone them out.

Thanks Bonnie, that is great they are back to the same place this year.
    How Many?
There are currently Four at the Columbia River South Jetty.
Very interesting to see that what was considered a 30 year event may become a yearly migration.

Wow! Possibly? I think there are more birds this year than last at this location. I have heard reports of as many as 16 here. I did not see that many, maybe about 6-8, but I did not really go very far—there were plenty to work with at the first stop.

That is great to here, I may have to make another trip.
It was such a cool and epic location to go bird hunting.

Thats a treat to say the least. The exposure is spot on and the sleepy yellow eyes cannot get better. A beautiful shot here Bonnie, tfs.

I like the comp as is.
The sleepy eye and hunched over position with foot up is different from the norm and I like it!
Excellent IQ and light. Good BG as well

I like the hunched pose, and raised foot...neat how the claws are hidden cat-like. Nice light, good job with the whites. I could see a version with more room above and right (even knowing it was "messy" further right).

Beauty of a shot Bonnie. I am about ready to cash in some miles for a weekend trip!
