Excellent timing! Not easy to catch this pose. There are water drops on the head, but I think I am seeing some artifacts. Give some consideration to removing some of the hightlights, if that fits with your ethics.

You certainly got him at a good time. Exposure looks good. Would also agree about eliminating some of the water drops on his head.

    Very nice shot.
Excellent timing, great eye contact, and great comp.
Agree on removing the brighter water drops.
    Well done.

This is a nice shot in a good position. The eye contact is lovely and the details look good. Tfs

Good timing for sure to get the start of the diving behaviour, but still an awkward pose (highly personal opinion). I'm OK with the drops on the head but would certainly remove the white spot below the eye and most of the glare on the black part of the plumage. You could create a pano version too with some off the top. Nice colours and low-ish angle.

Great breaching shot Satish. Not as easy as it might look. Sat on a ruddy duck the other day for a half hour trying to get this shot as he dove repeatedly. I think a pano would look good too. Nice capture.

Satish I think you have the bird exposed correctly and the image has been very well processed and I think the composition is fine. I know we can't always have what we want but I would like to have seen the image just before or just as the bill hit the water.

Great timing on this diving pose, Satish. It is not as easy as it looks. I have tried before. Great work.

    Satish:

When I saw the thumbnail, I thought wow, that looks very familar! http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...ack-going-deep

I can certainly agree, that it isn't easy to capture just the right moment when they dive. I think a pano crop is the way to go for this pose.

    Cheers

Funny pose on this guy! Techs look excellent Satish. You may want to remove the bright spots. Some do and some don't and often I forget to :( Nice work!
