    Default Loggerhead Shrike

While waiting for a coyote to attack a group of ducks at the Bosque this winter, a Loggerhead Shrike caught my eye. It let me get relatively close, and I managed a couple of frames before it flew off.

What can I tell you, nice perch, making a diagonal, good exposure and sharpness and pleasing to the eye :)
Maybe placing him a little to the upper right.

Very nice eye contact and BG. I agree with Fabs regarding the crop and might decrease the contrast a few points. The light is on the harsher side.
