This was one of my very first landscapes taken about 20 years ago. Reluctant to post it above David's superb image!! ;)

Canon EOS 5, Canon 20-35mm lens, ISO 100, Natural light, F22 (shutter about 2 seconds I think). Tripod.

IMO no need to be reluctant John, I like it a lot, the little pool with reflections of the trees is an interesting foreground subject and its serenity contrast nicely with the flowing water.

Nice image John. It all works well with the reflection, and blurred waterfall. One suggestion that may, or may not work, is to see if you can selectively brighten up the colour of the tree in the upper left of the photo. I like the green grass in the foreground.

I like the falls and the reflecting pool. The green grass adds some color which is a plus.

Hi John, I wish my first landscape looked like that! It's clear you had a very good understanding of using forground elements. The green boost Chris mentions is worth at least looking into........but don't know if it will improve this wonderful scene,

Excellent image John showing nice control arranging the elements in the image especially the FG pool and green grass. Waterfall silkiness just right for me. Lightening up the upper left is worth a try but agree with Roman it may or may not make it better.

    Well done.

Wow! Like others have said the water is just right and the pool in the FG is great. Nice job.
